We were lucky that we saw the advertisement. Package of 2 for 89 each. These includes steam bath, body scrub, aromatherapy massage, foot spa and pedicure. I like the foot spa the best. Steam bath was a bit too hot for me, lamas eh! Go for it ladies and gentlemen, promotion ends on the 15th of March.

This Taman Orchid was located behind the Rimba flower and plants market. Hubby friend mentioned about it. It was very beatiful. There is some paths of jogging too. go and take a look yourself. We also had a glimpse of the new Pertanian department building.

For the first time in my life, I ever experience speaking live on TV fo Rampai Pagi this morning. I was tasked to answer questions concerning the upcoming Symposium. As usual to prevent panic mode, practiced my scripts the night before with hubby. I think it went well for the both of us. As for me, I didnt do much talking actually. Good for me! but 1 question was not in my script at all, so I have to make up some answers, but I manage to answer it correctly. hehehe... 1 word to describe my feeling before we went on live was SCARYYYY......

Sukan Keluarga Kg Saba

Hubby's family organized the yearly Sukan Keluarga. It was held at Lambak Kanan Municipal Hall. Everybody had a great time. I really enjoyed watching some of the games. I didnt participate in any of the games (very strange of me not to participate.. hehe.) But hubby did participate and became 1st in the ' Ultimate Coconut Bowling competition'. Got ourself, hamper full with indomie goreng, condensed milk and chillie sauce ( Hehe, like a 2 months supply).

I dont have much to update for the past couple of days. Didnt do anything interesting. Hehehe... But on Sunday, we are going to Miri to buy some toiletries and house stuffs. My mom and dad will be coming with us too. Next Saturday, 24th, is my mum's birthday and planning for a special gift for her. On the 4th of April, will be the BSP emblem night with the theme 'glamorous'. Hehe.. Wow? What should we wear. Planning for something nice, maybe will look for it in Miri or something...

Road Trip To Labi and others... :)

Along the way towards labi and Bukit Teraja we saw padi field, lime trees and also banana trees owned by the villagers there. After the 2.5 hour drive we reach the end of the road and saw the top of bukit teraja. Its not very clear in the second picture, but its there hehe.

Next stop was to Luagan Lalak Recreation Park.

The picture below shows the jetty built a couple of years ago. It is not well maintained. Too bad we cannot go down and walk there. Need maintenance!!

One of the plants there called Langir Antu. My father said it is called Langir Antu because 'ghosts' will scrap some part of the trees and use them for their bath. I keep of asking him whether its true or not. He said 'yes, it is true.' So scaryy...

Yesterday was a Friday, off day for me. Hubby is at work. He left a couple of room cleaning tasks using post-it. Hehe. I've done most of it yesterday.

After finish cleaning, my parents, sister, her hubby and I went for a road trip to the deeper area in Tutong. I took a couple of pictures because I am very much interested with the scenery there. At some parts the road was not that good but a 4WD prado did just fine for the job. Enjoy the pictures below!

I saw a lots of padi area. The picture below is one of it. Sorry the picture not that clear because I took this while our car was moving.

We stopped by at a traditional stuffs stall. Many people came to this place to buy some traditional spices and vegetables. My dad bought a couple of coconut for $1 each. As for me, I bought some tempe to cook later :).

Below is a fishing area that we saw around Layong village. But you have to pay some money to be able to fish here.

The Long Weekend

I took holiday on last Saturday, that made my leave from the 1st to 4th January. I spend most of my time with my hubby, family and cleaning up our new home. For the first time, both of us for a quick sight-seeing at Jerudong Beach. The view was soothing but we didnt stay for sunset because it was about to rain. Dark clouds!

On Sunday (just yesterday), we had another picnic-camping-barbeque at Serasa beach. Dad went early to get a good spot and he got it! A day before, we actually went to survey the best spot for camping. Tried to fish, but not so seriously, didnt catch anything. Menyangkut saja bah kail ku hehe. At one time, I taught I caught something. Rupanya kayu.. Hehe...

Attended my cousin's wedding on the 1st January. Few nights before the family organized a couple of events. It was quite fascinating to see 'bergandang' night or more famously known as 'gambus'. The senior people seemed to enjoy it a lot. Lots of dancing and laughing heard. The young also enjoyed dancing. So cute! As for me and hubby, we both gathered all kids for the game of uno. The first to win will get a pack of indomie goreng. I think its very nice to see a mixture of modern and oldies entertainment.We should try to maintain it.

I am back at work today, 27th of December 2008. I had a long, fun, wonderful holidays! So much to write in this blog. One thing at a time.

From the 17th to 18th of December, my hubby and friends planned an adventure to Temburong district. I didnt know what to expect and I was really hoping that I will have a great time.

The first obstacle was the long queue at the border, Kuala Lurah to Limbang. But it was alright because one of my hubby's office mate kids joined in our car. So we did'nt feel that boring, as we have someone to talk to. We were caught in another long queue for the Ferry from Limbang to Temburong.

We arrived at the Freme Lodge at about 1.am. It was located right next to the Temburong River. Very peaceful place. The good thing was that we were the only families there during the 2-days stay.

We started off with Temuai ride along the Temburong River. Fun!! We stopped by at the Ulu Temburong National Park for 1/2 an hour. We saw beautifully designed accomodations for tourists. Costs around $300plus per night. Then, we went back on our Temuai and stopped at the Rafting point somewhere in the middle of the way. I shared with my hubby and a couple of boys. Hehe.. Fun!!!

Then, the instructor said ' Terajun ke aying!!!' Meaning jump into the river. For our floating activity. We float about 200m away from our lodge ( where we stopped.) It was a busy and fun day for everyone. All the other kids seemed to enjoy it a lot.

The next day (18th), flying fox time! Hehehe..I was scared. Honestly, my leg was shaking and I wanted to pull back. But I managed to do it in the end. Hehe.. Twice!

Overall, I found it fun! If you haven't been, you need to go. Explore, Brunei! (Pictures will be uploaded later ..:)

Oh yeah, watched Twilight yesterday. Really cool. 9/10!! It's suitable for viewing of all ages, not much killing scenes. Actually we bought the ticket 5 minutes before the money starts, we didnt even book. We manage to get the couple seat at the very back for $5 each. Good good. Everyone in the cinema behaved very well except for 1 couple (Dont feel like elaborating, faham faham sendiri saja keke) I believe there is going to be the continuation it's called 'The New Moon', already in the making. Go and watch it!

Camera From Japan

I bought an Olympus camera last year December 2007 in Japan. It is coming to its 1st year anniversary. Actually I havent been using it that much. Hehe. I have been having trouble on the settings. Tommorow I will definitely need my camera for water activities in Temburong. I took some time on how to configure it. The problem is whenever I am taking pictures, it becomes very blurry or sometimes becomes bright yellow. After a couple of minutes, going through and playing around with the settings, successful! Hehe.. I am so happy that I have managed to solve all those problems. Why I dont read the manual? Good question. Its in Japanese! I bought in from Japan remmember? Hehehe...

While doing some packing for our Temburong trip, I discovered that I have so many sports pants! I remmember those days when I was very crazy about jogging and netballing. Looking at them, makes me want to start exercising again.

Hubby was busy doing work for his company, so I have to find things to do on my own. Around 2, I drove down to Serasa beach to enjoy the view. Then, I saw a familiar car parked near to the sea shore. My sister and her husband, fishing! So I joined in. I didnt catch anything that noon. Menyangkut saja bah kail ku. Malas tah ku sambung. Then I walked down the beach, some families playing funny game, some kind of musical chair keke. After that, I drove down to Bandar. On the way, I stopped by at Sungai Bunga (famous spot for fishing. I wish I have my fishing rods that time, the water was so deep! I love catching crabs there. Maybe one of these days, want to bring my family to fish there again. Hehe..

On the way to Bandar, I drove around Kiulap area too. After that, I went to Pasar Malam, Gadong to buy some Nasi Lemak at this particular stall. My mom loved it so much, so i bought some for her and my whole family. I would recommed you to buy from this stall. It is located in the middle. This stall is selling lots of Nasi Lemak 50cents with tahai or chicken. Also selling some boiled octopus. The one that we always buy is the one using daun pisang ($1 for 3 for the small one. For the big one, $1 each (with more rice and a piece of chicken). The best thing is that, the owner of this stall always give extra rice as sedekah. Try it out...!!

Sushi Galore!!!

Yesterday morning, I picked up my sushi voucher $50 from HSBC. I redeemed some of my credit card points into that voucher. I had Salmon Sashimi and lots and lots of different types of sushi (except the Unagi ones). Hubby also really enjoyed that dinner we had. He tried some mushroom stuffs, very soupy. Hehe...If you are using your HSBC credit card, check up maybe you have enough points to redeem vouchers etc.

My father started making some artificial flower design for his business. I love his design so much. My dad will be selling them quite soon, check out my other blog for further info.

What is happening today? Hmm.. Planning to spend sometime packing my stuffs and getting ready to move out from this office. Yes, we are going to move to another building as from the next semester. Busy times that we are going to have! One thing about moving is that, we tend to loose our things. But this is not as bad as moving things from house to house! Which I will do pretty soon. I am also allergic to dust! Arghh....

I got a feeling he knows I have been quite sad lately. Last night, we went to watch "transporter 3" at the empire hotel. Before we left home, he packed up his camera. Then I asked him why. He said we will be able to meet some Cicakman heroes at Empire Cinema later, Saiful Apek and Yusry KRU, hehehe.

Firstly, the movie was good. I really enjoyed it! If you guys like action movies, this is for you. The movie finished around 9.15p.m. We rushed to go out to see if the heroes are already outside. We waited for 15 minutes and then suddenly he came up from upstairs of the cinema. Both of them we wearing cap but me and Hubby can recognized them. So there you go, we took some pictures with them :) Hehe...

Sunday, we stayed overnight at Miri. It was a fun trip! I didnt buy many personal stuffs despite the Big Sale! But I bought some artificial flowers for our business. My dad also bought a lot!! It is project during his pension period. Something to keep him busy! Hehe...

One thing that surprise me was the queue. Hehe. I expected it to be long. But when we arrive, it was quite quick. I can't wait for my leave next week!!

It's now December. Wow... time flies! I am going to take quite a long holiday from the middle of this month. Plans? Yes, got some plans. First three days of my holiday will be an adventure to Temburong. I'm joining a tour that will have fun activities such as hiking, flying fox, rafting and other games. It's going to be my first time to play flying fox. I missed joining the Japanese Summer School OBBD trip for 2 years in a row now. The best thing is, the trip is all sponsored. :P Oh yeah, with this opportunity, I want to congratulate my hubby for his recent promotion. I am very proud of you hun! *hug* *hug* Keep up the good work! Today, I am planning to update my personal diary hehe.. I need to update it because soon we will need to fill in 100 Jam Latihan. The '100 Jam Latihan' is actually 100 hours of attending/listening to useful seminars/workshops/ conferences .etc for staffs skills and other development.

PSR came out last Saturday! I knew when I got a phone call from our nephew. Actually, few months before the results came out we promise to give him our PS2 if he got 5 A. Well.. he did!! Bye bye to our PS2. hehehehe....He deserves it for getting 5 straight 'A's.

Last Saturday night we went to the Gala Night. The theme was international dress. As usual, I wore my kimono and hubby wore his Yukata. Check out the photo below.

On the 26th October was our 5th Year Anniversary together. I bought hubby a secret gift! He came home late that day, so I got time to buy the special gift. Guess what.. hehehe. Someone that he would use everyday to keep healthy.

A threadmill! It also comes with bicycle and gym ball. He seems to be using it everyday! I am monitoring him so tht he can loose some weight. He is lovin' it!

Forget about the title of my post for a while... Lets talk about my break in Kuala Lumpur. It was a great one. I bought a lot of selendang that I can use to work. I bought almost all different colours to match my working attire. We also went to Desa Water Park, KLCC and China. For the first 2 days, we stayed at Swiss Inn, it was an OK hotel, but I guess you can fine a so much better hotel somwhere else. And then we moved to Berjaya Times Square Hotel, the room was big cozy and got a very nice view!!

Anyway, back to my title. I was involved during the UBD convo as one of the Marshall. Hehe.. Check out the results, my picture was published in 3 different types of newspaper.. hehe.. I am having another holiday with Hubby this Friday! Going to KL again. Last year we went to Sunway Lagoon etc.

But we have now have a new schedule ahead of us. Planning to go to Cameron Highland and some Water theme Park. We are actually more excited of where we are going to stay! I manage to get a special rate for a beautiful studio suite at Berjaya Times Square Hotel. 5 stars!

As usual, not to forget the shopping time we are going to have! Wow! I can't wait. Hehe.... Tell you about it when I come back.

Back at Work

I am back at office. I had a really great time during raya this year. I had so much fun! Me and hubby able to meet my old friends. Our open house on the 2nd Day of Raya was quite successful too. I think we had about 300 guests. It was tiring! Hubby and I made the orange juice and icy cocktail. As usual my mom's Soto was the most famous one. My mum actually made a very big pot of the soto soup, but still, no more! Hehe...

In the mood everyone? Well, many things had happened to me lately that surely affect my mood. But anyhow, I have to think forward and enjoy raya. And be positive all the time..

Oh yeah, I just got my hari raya clothes last Sunday. I really love it!! I love the design compared to the one I made last year hehe. Simple and the prices are not that very expensive. I am very satisfied with it actually.

Last weekend, Hubby and I stayed at the Empire Hotel for 1 night. We had a voucher that would expire on the 6th of October, so we have to use it that weekend. It was a fun weekend. After terawih, we went to play some bowling and watch the movie 'Mama Mia'. So coool... I really love that movie. Hubby doesnt seem to enjoy it because of too much singing. But I really enjoyed it! All the songs were very catchy...

Last night was fire cracker galore for hubby's nephews and nieces. We went to gather at my bro in law's house. Hubby bought a lot of fire crackers in preparation for this event. He spent so much on that! We played all the big ones that night. It was fun actually. I just sat down because my stomach still feeling cramped. Sometimes its hard for me to walk or sit.

Went to Miri from Friday to Sunday. Good trip. Not many cars! No que at all at the immigration. I went with my hubby, parents and also my brother. My father bought many new flowers for our house for raya. As for me, Hubby bought me 4 nice blouses. It was nice being spoiled by him.. Hehe. :) My mom as usual, looking for kitchen stuffs. Some stuffs are definitely cheaper compared to Brunei. if you know where to find it. This weekend, I probably think the que might not be as friendly as last week, because salary is already out!

At this time, I am still waiting for my Raya clothing. My tailor haven't finished it yet. She promised at the end of this week. Hehe. I dont mind.. as long as the results are good. This year I made mind less embroidery but more beads. Again, my Raya clothing is also kindly sponsored by Hubby! I LOVE MY LIFE!! Hehe... Except I have to get my own material/fabric, that was the deal in the first place.

Went to my Dentist this morning. Changed to new wire for my braces.. hehe... Doctor said all the gaps between my teeth already closed! He said now I am entering the final stage of my braces.

My family and I had Sungkai at I Lotus, my treat! It was a great place to have sungkai. I would reccomend it to everyone. We got the 2nd floor one. The food is basically the same with the one on the ground floor. We also got the chance to meet the owner of the restaurant, apparently, my father's friend. He was a nice guy actually. I love the sweet sour chicken! Crispy and the taste was just right.. good!

Wow! I had a very peaceful sleep last night. Hehe. No cough at all! Last night, I decided to eat moderately. And I think that helps!

Today, we are on the mission to print some photos of me and hubby while we were travelling. Still many more to collect from. We want to frame them and put it on our living room wall before raya.

Tommorow my whole family are going to have sungkai buffet, I am juggling between Brunei Hotel or I-Lotus Restaurant. I-Lotus apparently is full and we are currently in the waiting list. As back up, I also book Brunei Hotel. I heard its really good there for a cheap price.

Cough at Night

Cought at night is getting into my nerve. I don't know what to do. During day time, I won't have it, but at night time, oh dear! Hubby would give some vicks vaporub to my foot. I think it helps a bit...

Right now, I am craving for serunding.. Hehe. Maybe I can buy some from my sister-in-law. She make the best Serunding. Very dry, flaky and the right flavour as well.

Friday, thinking of having Sungkai Buffet outside. I haven't decide where to go yet. Found very good website with lists of restaurants. Last year I went to Swensen , Orchid Garden and I-Lotus only. All of them were very good.... Hmm.. where shall we go this year??

Sweet Sour Fish Fillet

For the first time during Ramadhan, I got the chance to make some dish for my lovely hubby. I made some Sweet Sour Fish Fillet for Hubby. What I did was, I fried the fish first using some bread crumbs. For the sauce, use some chillie sauce, simmer them. And then add 1 egg and stir. It will turn into kinda paste type of sauce.. :)

He said he likes it. I hope he is honest with that hehe... Would love to cook more dish for him. Maybe, I will ask him to make some for me. Actually, he is a better cook than me. When we were in the UK, he did most of the cooking :)

Yesterday I was craving for chicken tail for sungkai hehe... Near to my house is Gerai Ramadhan Lambak. The place is recommended, if you dont like very crowded place like the one at the Stadium. Me and Hubby went for a walk to that area. I foundthe Chicken Tail! Hehe. Actually I am also craving for Milo Bars. Anybody seen it before? Its my favourite. I cannot seem to find it in the shop anymore. They only have the nugget type... but not as nice as the Milo Bar.

Well.... I have been very busy with the Japanese Summer School for 1 whole month (22nd July to 24th August 2008. It is a programme by which a group of 9 Japanese students will come to continue their study at the Institute of Medicine. Plus, some outside activities such as OBBD, Hadrah Lessons, etc. Actually, Friday and Sunday were also used up! I am glad that its over, but I was very sad when I saw them at the airport before they leave.. :(

Many things has happened for the past few monthsm good news, bad news. I gave my first public lecture on the 27th of August about calories. I think I did ok. I hope that most people would learn something from it! I noticed that I had lost a lot of weight, now it totals up to 6 kilos. Please don't ask me how I did it, I didn't wish for it actually. I thought abt maintaining weight, not loosing them.. Sighh... Anyway, great news on the 24th of August as well. Will not tell you at the stage, will tell you once it is confirmed.. :)

I bought the N61i as a gift for Hubby. It is to celebrate our First Year Wedding Anniversary 2008. Time flies! It was good timing because his N95 was damaged. He couldn't check his miss calls and messages. The link to it was apparently gone!!

The results of 'Menugu'

Fun weekend with my in-laws at the water village. Hubby and I stayed there from Saturday night till Monday morning because I have to go to work.

Wondering what 'Menugu' is? It's not a type of a ghost by the way.. hehe.. It is a form of catching fish using a very big net! The main aim is to catch as many prawns as possible. My father-in-law and gang came back at about 7 p.m. They caught about 3 barrels of mix prawns and fishes!

'Memisi' (to seperate the prawns and fishes)

The prawn-like animal is called 'Satak'.... my favourite!! Nyumm Nyumm... Very expensive because its hard to catch and dangerous too. They have very sharp body..
'Satak': This is how it looks like when its cook and ready to EAT!!Dinner Time!The next day, I woke up really early.. 6.30a.m! Hubby and I followed my father-in-law to the Kianggeh Food Market. It was really hot but sold lots of yummy foods!!

Ouch.. my throat felt very unconfortable since last Wednesday. Worst! I also got high fever for 2 days!!! It was hard for me to swallow food, so I have to control my food intake. I lost 2 kilos as the result of that, not good at all....

I went to BSB yesterday to visit my mum-in-law. Suddenly it rains heavily. The wind was strong as well. It was very scary actually. I took some photos of the sky too. It was very dark!!

I think I need to start thinking seriously about my PhD. I have started to look for some universities. I want to try a different country now. I have spent 3 years in UK and 1 year in Australia. Now, I am thinking of NUS, Singapore. NUS has a very good reputation not just in Asia, but also in the world. The good news is that they have emailed me if I can come for a formal interview, that will waived me from having to take the GET (Graduate Entry Test). I am so scared!

If I do my PhD, I will bring my hubby and parents along to Singapore. So that I will not feel that lonely!

Anyway, it was Tuesday since I last update my blog. Since then, I was busy preparing for a Summer Programme. Nine Japanese students from Kagawa University, Japan will be coming to Brunei to study in the IM for a period of 1 month. One of the program is going to be foster family. I will take one of the student as my foster family too. I cannot wait! Last Wednesday, I had a mild headache too. Feels a bit feverish too. I wanted to play netball with the UBD team, but I have to cancel. Felt better the next day. Saturday, I went to practice netball with a team from some school. They were very good! Hehe.. We need to practice a lot. But we can see some improvement with the communication between the UBD team. Very determined to play, just that I am very panicky and worried too much sometimes!!! I hope we keep on practicing and hope for the best!!!

Anyway, yesterday, I played netball with my friends and staffs of UBD again. I was really crap. hehe. Seriously. I got panic! I need to relax.. arghh... hehe.

Sunday, I went to Kg Ayer to see my Mom and Dad-in-law. I played with my young niece, still a baby, her name is Faeeqah. She is veryyyyy cuteee.. I feeel sooo geramm that I cannot let her go!!! Hehe.. I wish I can play with her again.

We went to the beach for a while, late in the afternoon. It was a very lovely day. There was a rainbow! I took some photos of the rainbow tooo.

I went to accompany Hubby to one of the clinic in Gadong. He wants to buy some medicine for his flu. Suddenly he saw an advertisement about Cervical Cancer vaccine (called Gardasil). He suddenly went to the counter to ask about it. I heard it costs more than $200++ each injection! In the next minute, I was in the doctor's room getting the injection!! I guess the advertisement really have impact on him. Thank you Hun for being concern. Love you!

Yes me and Zeti made it into the UBD bowling team. But... Hmm I hope it will not clash with Netball during the Borneo Cup. I am very much into both sports? So how? I put my finger cross for that.

IM staffs and Teachers from Sekolah Menengah Dato Mahawangsa will be having a friendly match this afternoon. It will be a good practice for a new team like us actually. We invited 2 umpires from another faculty for the game. Good Luck to both team!!

My first ever tournament was in the UK. When I was in my first year in Uni. Our team was called Brunotts. I was playing as the Wing Defence that time. We became Champion! I still have the trophy at home. I am really happy for it.

In the Primary and Secondary school, I never actually join any sports competition. Even if I did, I was never one of the best and never made it to any of the school team. But I did won High Jump when I was in form 3 and 4, I think. Hehe. I am happy now that I am very much involve with many sports. From my experience, without trying, we will never know what we can do!

I did'nt actually know the results of the Bowling selection yesterday. But as a personal progress, I think I did pretty OK. :) All my scores were over 100 (154, 107 and 142 totals up to 403).Even Zeti was also still in her usual steady form! We both managed to beat our previous scores during the UBD Ten-Pin Bowling Tournament last March. I will keep on practicing! Sugoi! (Sugoi means 'great').

Symposium, Pizza-ing

I went to Weight Management Symposium yesterday. It was very informative. Just some glitches at the beginning when I arrive. But I asked for help from a different lady, she was very helpful. I managed to get in at the end. The organizer said they replied our email, but we never received them. I do not understand why!

The opening ceremony was pretty cool actually. They used the Movie Maker program with music and pictures. Then it was followed by a performance by some PDS school kids! It was very entertaining and I think some people in the hall actually shed some tears.

In the afternoon, Hubby and I went for a late lunch with 2 of my Anak Buah, Fikriyah and Irfan. We had a large pizza (Hawaiian Lovers and Honey Garlic Chicken combination), some barbeque chicken wings and garlic bread. Yummy!

Sambal Lada...

Yesterday afternoon I made some Sambal Lada (Chillie Paste) for my family. I think it turn out to be OK. Hubby likes it. If you guys want to try, here is the recipe..

Some Onions --> cut and blended (let it be a bit saucy)

Lada Kisar (add depends on how spicy you want it to be)

Sugar

and Salt

Add some oil into a non-stick pan and slowly fry the blended onions until it turn a bit brownish. Ada some Lada Kisar, keep on stiring until it becomes a bit pasty. Add sugar and salt to taste. Wala!! Your Sambal Lada is now ready to eat with your Fried Chicken or simply with rice. Hehe.. Try it!!!

Hubby is normally working on Friday. I get bored really easily on this day! In the morning, normally I went to play bowling with my siblings. Played 3 games this morning. I did pretty OK, all scores over 100 (115, 118 and 125). Hehe.

After the game I went straight back home. My Panic Mode is ON again! I have to hand in a very important form (to apply to go for a conference in KL next July) tommorow! I need to get it done before 8 A.M. I had no choice but to drop by at the office for a while. Finally! I have completed it.

Now I am back at home. Don't know what to do anymore....

Overall, I LOVE it! I went to watch it at the Empire Cinema with my parents last week. Both of them really enjoyed the movie. I really enjoyed the story line actually. I didn't expect that guy in the white Jubah was actually the clone of Monkey King!! I seriously never thought of that. But I feel sad the young heroin died. I wonder who she is? She was very pretty in the movie! Jackie Chan was cool as well. Maybe you have different point of view on the movie.

I had my appointment for my braces today! Ouch! They changed to a much thicker wire. My doctor said I am entering the main stage, pushing the teeth to the back ( to fill up some gaps between my teeth). I feel a bit dizzy now, I can feel some pain when biting. But I think I can tahan this type of pain. I went to see students presentation this afternoon, I think they did pretty well :) I couldn't see all of them, because I need to do some work at the office for tonight's Medical Lecture.

Hehe Yes! Yes! I love it. I tried to make it myself a couple of times, but I never succeed. It's either too sweet or poor texture. Keke. But I keep on trying and trying. So far I like the Butter Milk Chicken from one of the stall at the Mall Gadong. I always order from there. My favourite!

It has been raining a lot lainly in Brunei. Especially near to the Maghrib time. Last night was raining too. There was a big loud lightning!! I was so shocked that I screamed so loud. Hehe..
Tekajut ku bahhh.....

I went jogging with Hubby few times behind Perindustrian Lambak. Many people jog there too. For the second time, I managed to jog around the field non-stop! I am very happy for myself. Hehe. Next time I will try to run continously 1.5 round.

I am slowly trying to improve my stamina. I used to be able to run 40 minutes continuosly at a slow phase. But I stopped excercising for almost a year and now I need to keep up with it.

There are other places that Bruneians can go jogging. Such as the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, Tasek Lama or just simply arond UBD etc. Any other good places, you think?

Saturday afternoon, my office mates and I went to a netball selections for a tournament. It was fun knowing all the other staffs who are into netball as well. I don't know what is the turn out. But after those games, we became very eager to form an IM Netball Team. I hope it will come true. I have been wanting to be a part of a team, after I left UK.

BSP Emblem Dinner was great!! Me and Hubby won the best couple dress for the evening. Hehe. It was really shocking actually! And for the last minute, I joined a catwalk performance. I was very shy, seriously. But I had fun, our performance also won the best performance of the night. Cool right! Hubby also won the lucky staff draw.

We stayed overnight at the Riviera Hotel. The next day (Sunday), we went to pick up our Anak Buah from Mentiri. We went to a shop and bought ice cream. We had a simple picnic at the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club. The view was really wonderfull! I really love it... After that we send them back home.

After that, we went to the Serasa beach. Swimming! The weather was nice, not hot at all. Hubby and I collected some shells. It was really hard to find a big one. But we managed to get about two big ones. At one time, I accidentally picked up a small crab!! Oh yeah, becareful everyone, there was broken glass everywhere yesterday! So please be careful!!

BSP Emblem Dinner

Another emblem dinner on Saturday! I had a wonderful time last year. It was my first time to join my hubby to the event. Last year, there was several funny performance by my Hubby's office mate. I was laughing like crazy!!

Last year's theme was colourful night and Hubby was elected as the Chairperson of the event.

This year, the theme is 'International Night'. It's tommorow!! I will be wearing my Kimono which i got from Japan last December (Picture above) . Hubby will be wearing Yukata ( a different version of Kimono). I cannot wait!!

I will be joining the 'catwalk' performance too. Do I have to walk like a Japanese girl? kekeke.. we'll see!!

Nasi Beriyani, My Braces

Hehe.. Yes I am a fan of Nasi Beriyani :) Do you know where I can get nice Nasi Beriyani in Brunei? The one that I love so far is the one that was served in a meeting which I attended a few times, few months ago. I particularly love when it is served with Ayam Masak Kurma. Hehe. I love it so much!!

Netball again? Hehe. Yes, staffs and students are really addicted to netball now. We are playing again next week on Tuesday. This Saturday, there is a selection for UBD representative for Netball team. Sounds so scary..

I looked at the mirror this morning, I noticed a lot of change to my teeth already. The front teeth is more straight now. Next step is to fill in the gap between my front and back teeth (1 tooth was pulled out from each side (left and right). Thinking back of the process that I have to go through before putting on my braces, I was really shocked that I actually went through all that, hehe. 2 weeks of pain, I would call it..

For some reason, I cannot logged in my blog for a few days. Now its back in business again! So Sorry :) I have been doing a lot of stuffs since I last update.

Last Friday night, I accompanied Sateria's friends from Malaysia and Indonesia. There were very keen to see the Royal Palace. So we went there together, I took a photo infront of the Istana too, for memory. Hehe :) It was nice!!!

Yesterday, I was the MC for an event in UBD. As usual, nervous, worried etc. So many things in my mind! But I think it was alright, hopefully. It was a good experience though. :) Last night, we also had a farewell dinner organized by IM UBD. The dinner is farewell party for our previous faculty Dean.

I went to see my in-law at the water village today, eat some ambuyat. Nyum nyum~ Not bad the condiments, but a bit hot!

I played some netball with my office mates and students yesterday. It was really fun. Hehe. Yes, body aching. I didn't sleep well last night. Hopefully, I will get better after a few games. I think most of us are addicted to netball already. (Thanks to Mariah of IM for the photo above!)

We are probably going to play again next Tuesday, if everybody agrees. Tonight, there is a public medical lecture by one of our staff at IM. Have to work extra hours today! Hehe.

Hubby just told me two great news yesterday, Alhamdulillah. I am really happy for him. He is doing really well with his work. Keep on going Hun!

Oh yeah, I went out lunch with my 'old good friends'. She came with her daughter, who I really miss a lot!! We met at a restaurant in Batu Besurat. I ordered some Butter Rice. It was a lot! I only ate half of it, but it was very good actually. Just that I am a bit full that time. The main purpose is to see her after a very long time!

I haven't play netball for quite sometime now. But I did play with my in-laws few weeks ago. It was fun actually. I didn't realize many of my in-laws play netball. They were very good too.

In the UK, I used to play GS (Goal Shooter). But in Brunei my favourite current position is WA. I think in Brunei there are many more better GS. Defence is not bad also, I love it, just that my stamina is very poor at the moment. Hehe. I need to increase my stamina!

Tommorow (Tuesday), I'll be playing with my office mates and IM UBD students. I will try to take some photos of the game and post them here. I am really excited actually. This will be the first netball game for IM staffs and students together! Hehe.

Bowling and Akademi Fantasia

Its Saturday again! I don't normally plan anything on Saturday evening due to the AF concert which already started. Talking about the contestants this year, I think most of them are pretty OK, well, some were bad. My favourite at the moment is Stacy of course. Her votes shoots up really high after the 2nd concert. Everyone have different opinion about this, I guess it is up to you to decide. That Nubhan boy have a nice tone to his voice, but he looks nervous during his performance.

I played some bowling with my sister yesterday. It was fun actually. Not many people were there. My in-law played with some of his office mate. I did pretty OK yesterday, all scores above 100! The highest was 129. It was one of those day, that I feel very lucky. Hehe. My type of throw is straight ball. Hehe. That is the easiest technique for me. I am thinking of buying my own bowling ball and shoe. Maybe I will decide at the end of this month. I will post the photo of the shoe and ball that I am getting :-)

I am particularly new in this blog thing. As you can see from the overall design, it is basically quite basic. I actually went through some of the famous blogger's website in Brunei last night with Hubby.

Looking at my title above. Yes I am a bit moody. I actually think I am worried about many things! Even on the least important things. Everything in office is alright actually. Its just me, myself and I. I need a break, I guess. I need to spend more time with Hubby, he will definitely cheer me up, as always.

Oh yeah, I had a hair cut few days ago, worth mentioning. I haven't cut my hair for almost 2 years! Just imagine how long and thick it was before. I cut it medium length and layered. I add some fringe style this time. I like my new hair because it is much easier to handle. I am thinking of putting some colour as well later, maybe brownish....

KK in May but.....

There's a one day public holiday in May. Our institute is organizing the KK trip from the 29th May to 1st of June. I think it is going to be a fun trip. The only problem that I am worried about is the road trip bit. I am not really into road trip these days, due to a single terrifying incident I had few years ago.

But the trip is organized as a final get-together session with our year 3 students. All of them are going to UK, Canada or Australia to continue their study. I think I am going to miss them all. I guess this is my only last chance to actually mingle with them. I am quite close to some of them, due to the Japan trip last December. Maybe the feeling is different if I take the bus? Its big and fully loaded with people. Maybe that will make me forget the whole thing... So... I have decided to go :)

About the Bangkok holiday, we are probably going to go sometime in November or December. That time I am already entitled for my mandatory leave. Will take a long one, probably 1 to 2 weeks. I can't wait!

The last time I had a good and long vacation was in November last year. A nice trip to Armsterdam, Prague and Singapore fully sponsored by my Hubby. Thank you Hunny! He had a course that time at Holland. So I also took the opportunity to go on our long delayed Honeymoon.

Armsterdam was very nice. We went around the city using a Canal Bus. It was very lovely actually. The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the smell of smoke and alcohol. It was everywhere! There's nothing that I can do, really. They have many souviners shop there as well. I managed to buy some little 'clogs' for my office mates. We also went for a short trip to the red district. Maybe if you google search the place, you will know what I mean :)

The trip to KK, Sabah last February was short and pretty tiring, but it was a great holiday as well. Will tell you more about KK in another post. :)

Last week Hubby went to Bangkok, Thailand. *sigh* I wish I can go, but it was very short notice that I couldn't get a flight for myself. I need a holiday. My next wish list is Bangkok, Thailand. Hubby said it was very nice there. The only problem he had was food, it was difficult to find Halal food. Is this true?

But as for me, I am not very choosy with food. I can survive with some simple meals and drinks. Talking about food, this week I feel like I am loosing my appetite again. Its a common thing ( I dont know why) that I have to face sometimes in a month. I do not understand why.
